Seven of Wands upright
From higher ground, a figure fends off six wands pushing up from below. They have the advantage, though the struggle demands firmness. The Seven of Wands appears when you need to hold your position in the face of criticism, pressure or competition. It speaks of courage, of believing in what you do and of not giving up ground just to please others. You've come a long way, and it's natural for some people to question you. This card reminds you that your convictions deserve to be defended with calm and determination.
Seven of Wands reversed
Reversed, the Seven shows the weariness of fighting for so long. Maybe you feel as if everyone is against you, or that you've run out of strength. Ask yourself which battles are truly worth it and which you can let go of without betraying yourself. Protecting your energy is a form of strength too.
The suit of Wands
The suit of fire: the spark that gets you out of bed in the morning. The Wands speak of your drive, your creativity, your projects and the way you take action.
