Page of Swords upright
A young person holds a sword high on windswept ground, alert and watchful. The Page of Swords represents mental curiosity, the eagerness to learn, investigate and ask questions. As a person, this card describes someone young in spirit, sharp, talkative and a little impatient, who picks up details others overlook. It can also announce news or messages that call for your attention. Its energy encourages you to observe before judging and to keep your mind fresh.
Page of Swords reversed
Reversed, that curiosity can turn into gossip, easy criticism or words spoken without thinking. It may reflect someone who promises a lot and delivers little, or a defensive attitude towards any comment. By all means ask questions, but listen to the answers with an open heart too.
The suit of Swords
The suit of air: the mind and the word. The Swords speak of thoughts, decisions, truths and conflicts.
