Four of Pentacles upright
A seated man hugs a coin to his chest, stands on two more and balances another on his head, with the city at his back. The Four of Pentacles speaks of the need for security and control. It has a healthy side: protecting what you have achieved, setting boundaries, looking after your energy. But it also has a rigid side: the fear of losing, the difficulty of sharing or letting go. Ask yourself whether what you hold on to gives you peace or whether, without realising it, it has become a cage.
Four of Pentacles reversed
Reversed, it can show that you are beginning to loosen your grip and open up to sharing. In other cases it points the opposite way: an insecurity that leads to spending without measure or to clinging on even harder. Find the middle ground between holding and letting flow.
The suit of Pentacles
The suit of earth: what you can touch. The Pentacles speak of work, money, the body, the home and the patience of building step by step.
