Four of Cups upright
Sitting under a tree with his arms crossed, a young man looks listlessly at three cups and doesn't see the fourth being offered to him by a hand from a cloud. The Four of Cups reflects that moment when nothing really excites you. It might be tiredness, boredom or a gentle sadness that turns you in on yourself. This card doesn't reproach you for pausing, because introspection is necessary too, but it whispers that there may be something valuable right in front of you that you aren't looking at yet.
Four of Cups reversed
When it appears reversed, the Four announces that you're beginning to come out of your apathy. Your curiosity returns, you accept an offer or you see clearly what you used to ignore. It's a small awakening; support it with simple gestures that bring back your enthusiasm.
The suit of Cups
The suit of water: the world of emotions. The Cups speak of love in all its forms, of friendship, of intuition and of what you feel, even if you don't say it.
