Ace of Cups upright
A hand emerges from a cloud holding an overflowing chalice; five streams of water pour into a pool full of water lilies. The Ace of Cups is the beginning of everything we feel: a love being born, a sincere friendship, an emotion that brings you back to life. It also speaks of compassion, of creativity flowing from the heart and of an awakened intuition. This card invites you to open up, to let yourself be moved and to receive, without fear, whatever arrives with tenderness.
Ace of Cups reversed
Reversed, the Ace suggests that your cup is closed or empty. Perhaps you protect yourself so much that you don't let affection in, or you give without receiving anything back. Before looking outside yourself, ask how you could fill your own cup with self-love.
The suit of Cups
The suit of water: the world of emotions. The Cups speak of love in all its forms, of friendship, of intuition and of what you feel, even if you don't say it.
